Product design for Android-based devices

Our team has the most extensive practical experience in developing Android devices, based on Mediatek, Qualcomm, and Intel platforms. The design work is carried out simultaneously at our Moscow and Shenzhen offices, which gives a combination of a high speed with a minimum of iterations. Usually the way from the approval of the technical specifications to obtaining the first engineering prototypes takes two months, and another three months until the completion of the design work.

A typical designing procedure comprises the following stages:

  • Preparation of the terms of reference
  • Design of the layout of the solution Industrial design 3D modeling of the casing
  • PCB Layout
  • Ordering of special and custom-made components (touch panel, antennas, batteries, etc.)
  • Writing of special drivers, Android source code preparation
  • Manufacture of the engineering prototype and the prototype of the casing
  • Alfa-testing, correction of the engineering documentation, improvement of the software
  • Manufacture of injection molds
  • Manufacture of the pilot batch
  • Beta testing, correction of the engineering documentation, improvement of the software
  • Mass manufacture
